EuroTier 2010 and BioEnergy Decentral go to SPACE 2009 |

EuroTier 2010, the world’s top event for animal production, will join with other exhibitors at the SPACE international trade show for livestock held in Rennes, France. For the first time, EuroTier’s accompanying exhibition, BioEnergy Decentral - the Global Meeting Place for Decentralized Energy Supply, will also be presented there. France is one of Europe’s most important animal production markets for all species including poultry, pig, dairy and cattle as well as feed. The French livestock genetics sector is among the most advanced in the world, with a wide range of local and specially bred genetics. Feed additives from French companies also enjoy a good reputation and high export demand. At the last EuroTier 89 exhibitors out of 1700 exhibitors were from France. “French technologies are an important part of the animal production sector in western Europe but also in the CIS region which is one of the key target markets for EuroTier. We look forward to presenting EuroTier 2010 and Bioenergy Decentral at SPACE next week,” says Dr. Karl Schlösser, project manager of EuroTier. The last edition of EuroTier saw strong visitor numbers among poultry and livestock farmers and experts from all over the world. Many came to gather information on machinery and equipment, genetics, farm inputs and services for modern animal husbandry. The bioenergy and local energy segments also proved to be popular at the show, which was attended by some 130,000 visitors, an increase of more than ten percent from the previous edition. As the world's leading exhibition for professional animal husbandry, EuroTier has also established BioEnergy Europe as the foremost venue for bioenergy and local energy supply. At next year’s show, this popular segment will be called BioEnergy Decentral, reflecting a more extensive programme catering to the widespread interest in bioenergy issues. The last EuroTier attracted some 400 exhibitors with bioenergy offering and 35,000 visitors quoted bioenergy as a key area of interest. Participants can look forward to wider offerings such as technologies for the production of bioenergy use, the operation of decentralized energy systems, bioenergy and/or conventionally managed energy supply systems, and services within the energy value chain Organised by the DLG, both EuroTier and BioEnergy Decentral take place from 16 to 19 November 2010 and run alongside each other at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds. Visit the team at SPACE in Rennes from 15 to 18 September 2009 (hall 10, stand C65). |
